We're seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our close-knit team at Action PAs. This is a remote, flexible freelance role paying £15 per hour to begin with, which increases while you work with us.

In line with our mission to make administrative support readily available to all businesses, this role features flexible working hours and the chance to engage with a diverse range of clients.

You will assist small businesses without becoming a Virtual Personal Assistant. The position offers flexibility regarding your work hours and the completion of tasks for clients. As our packages operate on rolling contracts, you will collaborate closely with clients for extended periods.

You'll work with driven professionals to provide the assistance their businesses need to reach their full potential. We value reliability, efficiency, and focus when tackling client projects.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • At least 1 year of experience in an administrative support role.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships.

  • Exceptional time management and organisational abilities to handle multiple tasks effectively.

  • Self-motivation and reliability, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

  • Skills in client servicing and customer service to provide the top level support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

General Administrative Tasks:

  • Perform data entry and update spreadsheets, databases, or CRM systems.

  • Create, format, and organise documents (Word documents, PDFs, etc.).

  • Manage and organise digital files, including renaming, sorting, and categorising.

  • Conduct basic online research, such as sourcing contact information or supplier - details.

  • Process invoices and receipts using provided templates or systems.

Customer Support Tasks:

  • Respond to customer FAQs via email or chat using pre-set templates.

  • Handle customer enquiries and provide prompt, professional follow-ups.

  • Manage and schedule follow-up communications with clients or customers.

Operational Support Tasks:

  • Order office supplies or other business essentials on behalf of clients.

  • Update and maintain internal trackers, such as project progress or inventory lists.

  • Transcribe meeting notes or audio recordings accurately and efficiently.
